Our first raised bed

Yesterday, we built our first raised bed.  We attached hardware cloth to the bottom to keep out the critters.   It was pretty simple and I plan on making some more.  This week I will haul some soil from the uneven part of the garden to put in the bed along with some compost and other amendments.

Babies

My tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower and broccoli have sprouted.  Now to start all the other things I want to plants.  It's been cold and windy here and I've had no time to dig outside yet.  I need to get my raspberry bushes planted.  They are sprouting out of the package.  I want to get at least one raised bed built but Larry says we need to buy a blade for the saw.  I have to cut some  used boards in half.
