Gardening at over 7000 ft is a challenge. With little rain, lots of wind, hot sun and wild animals (gophers, rabbits), it takes lots of tricks and patience to make any kind of garden grow here.

2014 Garden
This summer I tried to plant just a few things. Corn, pumpkin, tomatoes, lettuce and strawberries. Corn grew about a foot. Got one tiny pumpkin. Got several tomatoes. Strawberries did great. No lettuce. Weeds took over as always.
