Seeds starting soon...

Yesterday I got out in the garden for a little while. I got really sick last fall and failed to winterize the garden. the kids moved all the tires. I pulled up the stakes and picked up trash. It's going to need some extra attention this spring. I need to order a tine for the rototiller. I want to build a 3 compartment compost bin with the free wood we got last year. I want to plant very tall plants along the garden fence line to block the wind.
My sister-in-law has to move in with us for a little while so I have to clean out our shed and move a bunch of our stuff in there to make room for her. All the garden stuff for seed starting has to come in. I'm running a little behind on the planning. I just haven't had time. Larry has been gone during the week because of his job so it makes like harder on me. He is so much help. The chimney top disappeared and a bird ended up down the chimney and in our wood stove. Larry wasn't here so I had to call one of his friends to come get it out. I wasn't touching it.
It is very windy here today. Last week I managed to do some winter watering. It was very nice and in the 60's. Some of the little blue spruce trees look like they didn't make it through the winter but I'm hoping they come back. Their needles are brown. I can't wait until I see new plants immerging from the ground.
